Autodesk® CFD Introductory Course
(Formerly CFdesign)
UpFront Engineering Simulation invites you to a 2-day Autodesk® CFD introductory course. After the course the participant will have acquired all the necessary knowledge to successfully complete a CFD analysis project using Autodesk® CFD . The introductory course teaches the attendants how to use Autodesk® CFD for UpFront fluid flow and thermal analysis.
Autodesk® CFD Introductory training contains examples within the following application areas:
- Automotive
- Ventilation/HVAC
- Valves/flow regulation
- Electronics cooling
- External flow

- Set up and run analysis

Prerequisites
A general requirement for using Autodesk® CFD is good knowledge of a CAD system such as SpaceClaim®, Pro/ENGINEER®, SolidWorks®, Solid Edge®, Unigraphics®, CoCreate® or Autodesk® Inventor®. Also, other ACIS and Parasolid-based CAD software are also compatible with Autodesk® CFD. For this course, only basic CAD knowledge is required.
